The Fox 36 Float 160 FIT RLC Fork is the lightest 160mm (6.3") travel fork out there, but it gives away nothing in the stiffness and strength department. It has 36mm upper tubes that guarantee precise tracking through the nastiest rock gardens, and the 20mm thru-axle at the bottom keeps it all tight and secure.The 36 Float is air sprung. This is a big part of how they can make it so feathery. The air spring is tuned to provide a plush ride at the top of the stroke with a smooth ramp up to avoid bottoming at the end. Though it lacks an external adjustment like the TALAS forks, the travel of the 36 Float can be adjusted internally with the addition of travel spacers under the air piston. They can be added in 10mm increments and the fork can be reduced down to 100mm.The right leg houses the FIT damper. It's a cartridge type that seals the suspension fluid away from any gas or contaminant infiltration.
